Ava Lily, an artist originally from Bristol and now based in London, has been writing music and playing piano since childhood, using songwriting as a way to express emotions that would otherwise be bottled in. After being discovered by Naughty Boy from her cover of ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ she was signed to Virgin EMI where she collaborated with artists including EMeli Sands and James Arthur. Upon exiting her deal she co-wrote ‘Common’ off of ZAYN’s Icarus Falls record. Through that process, Lily continued to hone her craft and develop an even deeper respect for songwriting and ultimately decided that she both wanted and needed to tell those stories as an artist herself.

Ava Lily’s music shares the qualities of honest and empowered songwriting with elegant and soulful vocals. Ava’s latest single, ‘Sad Party’, is a raw and uncut look into her relationship with alcohol. It embodies the harrowing feeling that anything beautiful, including relationships, will be ruined by drinking.
